Professional golfer Chris Hanson, swapped his clubs for cups yesterday when he hosted his annual Golf Day at Woodsome Hall for sponsors and supporters.

Professional golfer Chris Hanson, swapped his clubs for cups yesterday when he hosted his annual Golf Day at Woodsome Hall for sponsors and supporters.
26 teams competed against each other in a friendly competition throughout the day, enjoying the last of the summer sun at the hill side golf club.
The event was sponsored by Arrow Self Drive who also provided some Yorkshire tea and biscuits in their corporate hospitality trailer halfway around the course. Chris was on hand to chat to the teams about his imminent trip to Italy and China for the next leg of this year’s European Challenge Tour.
Hanson, who turned pro in 2006, won the 2nd stage of the European Challenge Tour in 2013 and is the current pro at Woodsome Hall, was delighted that so many teams were involved and that the weather didn’t dampen the day.
Chris said, “It’s been a fantastic day, the teams have shown us some great golf, the weather held out until the final minutes and the feedback has been really positive. I cannot thank everyone enough for their continued support and the team spirit shown today as well as Arrow for their great hospitality.”
