COVID-19: What we are doing to keep you safe
We have now implemented a range of procedures to help keep our staff and you the customer as safe as we can in the climate of Coronavirus. As suppliers of vehicles for the NHS we have an extra duty of care to ensure the highest standards in health and safety so whilst some of our procedures may seem over the top, in our opinion, it is imperative we take these measures for everyone who hires from us. If you have any concerns or suggestions please contact us.
Internal Employee directives:
- Employees to frequently clean hands by using alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water
- When coughing and sneezing cover mouth and nose with flexed elbow or tissue – throw tissue away immediately and wash your hands.
- The widespread and regular use of anti-bacterial spray, gel and wipes throughout our offices and on our rental desks
- All staff are being asked to make their own drinks, prepare their own food and place their used cups/utensils in the dishwasher or wash them personally
- Employees must use their own stationary, particularly pens and pencils, phones and keyboards and these must be cleaned down at the beginning and end of each day
- Work together as a team to ensure door handles, handrails and communal surfaces are wiped at the end of each day
- Only one person to unload the dishwasher and wash their hands thoroughly both before and after use
- Where staff share spaces to implement a routine of cleaning in between users
- Hand washing posters to be placed in all public areas including toilets to encourage customers to keep hand washing
- Avoid staff attending large scale gatherings for promotional or other purposes
- Rental staff to implement social distancing, keeping away from customers ( 2 metres) at all times
- Rental staff to spray the tablets with anti-bactieral wipes before and after each use
Driver and valeter directives:
- Drivers to implement an extra level of sanitation when valeting, using anti-bacterial spray as well as the usual regime of deep cleaning of vehicles.
- Drivers to spray the handbrake, steering wheel, gear stick and drivers area of each vehicle upon delivery and collection of each vehicle
- Drivers to spray the tablets with anti-bactieral wipes before and after each use
- Drivers to implement social distancing and stay a safe distance (2 Metres) from customers when delivering and collecting vehicles
